Delphine DERUMEZ

After graduating from law school with a concentration in French and English law, Delphine DERUMEZ started her career with a law firm specializing in business law.

She then joined Fischer, Tandeau de Marsac, Sur and Partners’ Employment Law Department where she spent ten years advising French and foreign companies of all sizes as well as individuals (executives) on both national and international matters.

Delphine DERUMEZ provides legal services on all areas of employment law, including individual and collective issues.

She has a broad experience representing clients before French labour courts and advises clients on a wide range of employment issues and matters involving HR matters, as well as social security checks/adjustments.

The work she carries out includes: Restructuring operations & redundancy; Audits, Relations with labour administrations; Collective bargaining; Employee representation & elections; Shares schemes & incentives; Working time regulations; wages, Health and Safety; Negotiations and amiable termination of employment contracts; Unfair and wrongful dismissals, including gross misconduct; Discrimination; Employment contracts; executive managers’ status; Settlement agreements; Individual claims, etc.

Her clients range from any kind of private organisations to individuals and company directors in various industries including services, manufacturing, financial services, technology & Medias.

She taught Employment law to Engineering students for several years, and participates to various symposiums (e.g.: International Chamber of Commerce regarding International mobility issues). She can arrange seminars and training, which can be tailored to a client’s specific requirements.

Delphine DERUMEZ joined BL & Associés as Partner in October 2008.

Education: admitted to the Paris Bar in May 1998, Bachelor of Law (LLB – university of Kent, Canterbury – GB), Master in French and European business law (D.E.J.A. – University of Paris X), Post graduate lectures in European labour law (DEA directed by Professor Antoine Lyon-Caen).
