Sophie BOURGUIGNON

Sophie BOURGUIGNON started her career in the Labor Law Department of the law firm Vovan & Associes in 1997 where she worked for three years prior to becoming responsible for the Secondment and Expatriation Department of Deloitte & Touche (Lyon).  In 2001, she joined at its creation the law firm Grand, Auzas & Associes and was promoted to Partner in 2006 in order to manage the Labor Law Department with Joel Colbeaux.

Sophie has been a Partner of BL & Associes since January 2009.  Her dual specialization in French and English law enables her to advise French as well as foreign companies in various sectors, from culture to manufacturing, in the management of their human resources.  She also advises employers trade unions in their negotiations of collective bargaining agreements.

Her advisory practice enables her clients to use employment law as a genuine tool of Human Resources management, either at the individual level, from the drafting of an employment contract to its termination, or at the collective level, through negotiations and the drafting of collective provisions (agreements, rules, etc.).

She also defends her clients interests before courts in any litigation matters related to Labor Law.

Sophie BOURGUIGNON, member of the Paris bar, also provides training to managers and top executives on Employment Law issues.

Education: admitted to the Paris bar in January 1998, Post graduate diploma in Labour Law (University of Paris II), LLB Law (University of Kent at Canterbury- United-Kingdom).

Languages: French and English.
