Sophie advises her clients on how to use employment law to effectively manage human resources on an individual level – from drafting an employment contract through to contract termination – and a collective level by negotiating and implementing collective rules.

She also defends her clients in court in the context of their employment law disputes.

Sophie began her career in 1997 in the Employment Law department of Vovan & Associés, before taking on the role of Manager of the Secondment and Expatriation department of Deloitte & Touche (Lyon). In 2001, she joined Grand, Auzas & Associés, before becoming a partner of the firm and taking over as manager of the Employment Law department in 2006.

Sophie became a partner of BL & Associés in 2009. Her French and English law degrees enable her to help both French and foreign companies manage their employment relations, as she can advise them and represent a variety of clients, including cultural and industrial firms and trade union federations.

Sophie also teaches employment law to company executives and managers.

Education/admission: Sophie was sworn in in 1998 and has a DESS post-graduate degree in Law and Employment Relations (Paris II University) and an LLB Law degree (University of Canterbury).
